Convert TXT to PDF

Select a .txt file and get a paginated PDF: A4 or Letter, your choice of font size, with long lines wrapped at word boundaries and blank lines preserved. Tabs become spaces so columns stay roughly aligned. Nothing is uploaded to Filesvo.

How to use Filesvo

  1. Select or drop a .txt file.
  2. Choose the page size (A4 or Letter) and font size (8–16 pt).
  3. Click Convert to PDF and download the result.

How the text is laid out

Text is set in Helvetica — the PDF standard font that every viewer ships, so the file needs no embedded font data and stays small. Lines wrap greedily at word boundaries to fit the page width inside a 2 cm margin; a word longer than a whole line is split rather than lost; empty lines are kept so paragraph breaks survive; and new pages are added as needed.

The built-in Helvetica covers Latin (Western European) characters — letters, digits, punctuation and common symbols. Text in other scripts — Devanagari, Tamil, Chinese, Arabic and so on — cannot be rendered with it, and the tool tells you plainly instead of producing a PDF full of placeholder boxes.

Transparency handling

Latin (Western European) text only — the standard PDF font used here does not cover other scripts, and the tool refuses rather than render broken characters.

Private by design

Your files are processed directly in your browser using open-source engines that run in your browser and are not uploaded to Filesvo. Nothing is stored on our servers, because nothing ever reaches them.

Frequently asked questions

Which characters are supported?
The Latin range covered by standard Helvetica: Western European letters (including accents like é, ü, ñ), digits, punctuation and common symbols. Other scripts are refused with a clear message — no silent boxes or question marks.
How are long lines handled?
They wrap at word boundaries to fit the page width. A single word longer than an entire line (a long URL, for instance) is split across lines so nothing is cut off.
Does it preserve my line breaks and blank lines?
Yes — every line break in the file is honored, and blank lines are kept, so paragraph spacing survives. Tabs are converted to four spaces.
Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. The PDF is generated entirely in your browser using an open-source PDF library — your text never leaves your device.
