- Click Merge PDFs and download the combined document.
How merging works
Merging copies every page of every input file, in your chosen order, into one new PDF. Pages are transferred with their content intact — text stays selectable, links inside a page keep working, and image quality is unchanged, because nothing is re-rendered or re-compressed.
Document-level extras that live outside the pages — bookmarks, file attachments, form field structures — belong to each original file and are not carried into the merged document. For most everyday merging of reports, scans and letters, this doesn't matter.
Private by design
Your files are processed directly in your browser using open-source PDF engines that run in your browser and are not uploaded to Filesvo. Nothing is stored on our servers, because nothing ever reaches them.
Frequently asked questions
- Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?
- No fixed count limit — each file just needs to be under the 100 MB per-file cap. Merging many large files takes more memory, since everything happens in your browser.
- Does merging reduce quality?
- No. Pages are copied, not re-rendered — text, images and vector graphics come through byte-for-byte as they were in the source files.
- Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
- No. Encrypted PDFs can't be read — remove the password first, then merge.
- Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
- No. Merging runs entirely in your browser using an open-source PDF library. Your documents never leave your device.
