How to use Filesvo

  1. Select or drop one or more PNG files, or paste an image from your clipboard.
  2. Arrange the page order with the arrows and choose a page size — fit-to-image, A4 or Letter.
  3. Click Create PDF and download the result.

How PNG images become PDF pages

PNG is a lossless format, and PDF can store PNG image data losslessly too. Filesvo embeds each PNG into the document without lossy re-compression, so text in screenshots stays crisp and flat colors stay clean.

With the default fit-to-image setting, each PDF page takes the exact shape of its image. Choosing A4 or Letter instead places each image centered on a standard page with a small margin — the usual choice when the PDF will be printed or submitted as a document.

Private by design

Your files are processed directly in your browser using open-source PDF engines that run in your browser and are not uploaded to Filesvo. Nothing is stored on our servers, because nothing ever reaches them.

Frequently asked questions

Does converting PNG to PDF reduce quality?
No. PNG data is stored losslessly inside the PDF — there is no lossy re-encoding step, so every pixel is preserved.
What happens to transparent areas of my PNG?
Transparency is kept in the embedded image. How it looks depends on the PDF viewer — most render transparent areas against the page background, which is white in this tool's fixed page sizes.
Can I mix portrait and landscape images?
Yes. With fit-to-image, each page matches its image's own shape. With A4 or Letter, each page is rotated to portrait or landscape to fit its image best.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. The PDF is assembled entirely in your browser using an open-source PDF library. Your images never leave your device.
