SVG to PNG Converter

Turn SVG vector graphics into pixel-based PNG images. Your browser's own SVG renderer does the drawing — the same engine that displays SVGs on web pages — so the result matches exactly what you see, with transparency preserved.

or drag and drop SVG files here — you can also paste from the clipboard

How to use Filesvo

  1. Select or drop SVG files.
  2. Choose the output size — 1× uses the SVG's own declared size; 2× and 4× render larger, staying sharp because vectors scale losslessly.
  3. Click Convert to PNG and download the results.

About SVG and PNG

SVG describes graphics as shapes and paths, which scale to any size without quality loss but need a renderer to display. PNG stores fixed pixels that every app, chat and uploader accepts. Rasterizing to PNG is what you need for platforms that reject SVG uploads — most social networks, marketplaces and older tools.

The output size comes from the SVG's declared width and height, or its viewBox when no explicit size is set. Icons declared at small sizes are best exported at 2× or 4× so they stay crisp where you paste them. SVGs are rendered as images, which means scripts inside them never run and external references are never fetched — nothing in the file can execute.

Private by design

Your files are processed directly in your browser using the browser's built-in image APIs and are not uploaded to Filesvo. Nothing is stored on our servers, because nothing ever reaches them.

Frequently asked questions

What size will my PNG be?
At 1×, the SVG's declared width and height (or its viewBox dimensions if no size is declared; 512×512 pixels if it declares neither). The 2× and 4× options multiply that — losslessly, since vectors have no fixed resolution.
Is transparency preserved?
Yes. Areas the SVG doesn't paint stay fully transparent in the PNG.
Why does my converted SVG look different or empty?
SVGs rendered as images can't run scripts, load external images or fetch remote fonts — browsers block that by design (which is also why the conversion is safe). SVGs that depend on those features render without them. Text falls back to locally available fonts.
Are my SVG files uploaded?
No. Rendering happens entirely inside your browser using its built-in SVG engine. Filesvo never receives your files.
