PDF to PowerPoint Converter

Select a PDF and get a .pptx you can open and edit in PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides or LibreOffice Impress. Each page becomes one slide at that page's own size, and every line of text becomes a real text box you can click and retype — with the PDF never leaving your device.

How PDF to PowerPoint conversion works here

Filesvo reads every character in the PDF together with its font size, weight and position on the page, then writes each line back out as a positioned PowerPoint text box at the same coordinates. The slide is set to the page's own dimensions rather than a fixed 4:3 or 16:9, so an A4 page stays A4 and nothing is cropped or stretched to fit.

The result is genuinely editable — bold and italic survive, monospaced text keeps a monospaced font, and every line can be moved or retyped. What it is not is a picture of the page: only the text layer is carried across, so photographs, logos, background shading and vector drawings in the PDF do not appear in the deck.

Private by design

Your files are processed directly in your browser using open-source PDF engines that run in your browser and are not uploaded to Filesvo. Nothing is stored on our servers, because nothing ever reaches them.

Frequently asked questions

Are images from the PDF included in the slides?
No. This conversion carries the text layer, which is what makes the slides editable. Pictures, logos and vector drawings are not placed on the slides.
Will the slides look exactly like the PDF pages?
The text lands where the PDF had it, at the same sizes, so the layout reads the same. Exact letter spacing can shift slightly because PowerPoint measures fonts its own way, and anything that is not text is not drawn.
What if my PDF is a scan?
A scanned PDF is a picture of a page with no text layer, so there is nothing to turn into text boxes. The tool tells you that rather than handing you empty slides.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The PDF is read and the .pptx is written entirely inside your browser. The file never leaves your device.
