About Filesvo

Filesvo exists for one moment: when you look at a file and think, “I need to do something with this.” Convert it, shrink it, change its format — without installing software, creating an account or handing your files to a stranger's server.

Every Filesvo tool runs entirely in your browser — the built-in web platform for most of them, and open-source engines compiled to WebAssembly for the formats browsers cannot handle alone. Your files are processed on your device and are never uploaded to us. That is not a marketing line — it is how the tools are built, and it is why they are fast.

There are 105 tools today, across images, PDFs, documents, audio and video, and developer utilities. The list grows carefully: a tool only ships when it works correctly, handles errors gracefully and tells the truth about what it does. Correct results matter more to us than a long feature list.

Open-source engines

Some formats have no browser support at all — a browser cannot decode a HEIC photo, encode an AVIF image, or re-encode video. Filesvo serves the engines below to do that work locally. Each is used as published, and each licence text is served with it.
