Split PDF into Separate Pages
Break a PDF apart into single-page files. Split every page, or list just the pages you need — each becomes its own PDF, and nothing is uploaded to Filesvo.

How to use Filesvo
- Select or drop a PDF file — its page count appears once loaded.
- Choose Every page, or Specific pages with a list like 1-3, 5.
- Click Split PDF and download the pages individually or all at once.
Splitting vs extracting
Splitting produces one PDF per page: a 10-page document becomes 10 single-page files, each named after the original with its page number. Pages are copied as-is, so text stays selectable and quality is unchanged.
If you want the selected pages together in one new document instead of as separate files, use the Extract PDF Pages tool — same selection syntax, one combined result.
Private by design
Your files are processed directly in your browser using open-source PDF engines that run in your browser and are not uploaded to Filesvo. Nothing is stored on our servers, because nothing ever reaches them.
Frequently asked questions
- How are the output files named?
- Each file takes the original name plus its page number — report.pdf becomes report-page-1.pdf, report-page-2.pdf and so on, so the downloads sort naturally.
- Can I split only some pages?
- Yes. Switch to Specific pages and enter numbers or ranges like 1-3, 5, 8-10. Only those pages are produced as files.
- Does splitting work on password-protected PDFs?
- No. Encrypted PDFs can't be read — remove the password first, then split.
- Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
- No. Splitting runs entirely in your browser using an open-source PDF library. Your document never leaves your device.
