How to use Filesvo

  1. Select or drop a PDF file — its page count appears once loaded.
  2. Enter the pages to extract, as numbers and ranges like 1-3, 5.
  3. Click Extract Pages and download the new PDF.

Extracting vs splitting vs deleting

Extracting copies your selected pages into one new PDF, in ascending page order, and leaves the original file untouched. It's the right tool for sending someone only the relevant part of a longer document.

Two close relatives: Split PDF produces each selected page as its own separate file, and Delete PDF Pages does the inverse — it keeps everything except the pages you list. All three copy pages as-is, so text stays selectable and quality is unchanged.

Private by design

Your files are processed directly in your browser using open-source PDF engines that run in your browser and are not uploaded to Filesvo. Nothing is stored on our servers, because nothing ever reaches them.

Frequently asked questions

How do I write the page selection?
Combine single pages and ranges with commas: 1-3, 5, 8-10 extracts pages 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 9 and 10. Duplicates are ignored, and the tool tells you if a number is beyond the document's last page.
Do extracted pages keep their quality?
Yes. Pages are copied, not re-rendered — text, images and graphics are carried over exactly as they are in the original.
Is the original PDF modified?
No. Extraction builds a brand-new PDF containing copies of the selected pages. Your original file stays exactly as it was.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. Extraction runs entirely in your browser using an open-source PDF library. Your document never leaves your device.
